CareFusion Utilizes IVEMSA BPO Services for Recruitment Boost

CareFusion, a global supplier of medical devices that has long established manufacturing operations in Mexico, recently tapped IVEMSA BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) to assist with successful recruitment of nearly 50 new employees.

Working in conjunction with CareFusion’s robust HR department, IVEMSA BPO was called in to help meet the challenge of filling positions for wide variety of rotating work schedules and night shifts. Finding people who want to work night and rotating shifts is particularly difficult as well as finding the more highly skilled technical engineers.

Utilizing their extensive network and resources, the IVEMSA BPO HR team was able to successfully staff positions for 40 production Operators and 6 Technical Engineers, with experience in Medical Products.

CareFusion reported that while the project took two months to complete, they were pleased that they were presented with high quality candidates to choose from.  This differed from previous experiences with other outsourced recruitment efforts that provided a great volume of candidates who were, however, unqualified.  Instead, IVEMSA BPO team took time to carefully screen applicants to ensure that CareFusion was only meeting with the most qualified of candidates.

With two operations in Baja California, one in Mexicali, and one in Tijuana, Carefusion, started operations in Mexico more than 30 years ago.  The company has invested more than $50 million USD in infrastructure over the past 10 years and expects to continue at the same pace in the near future by conducting activities aimed to simplify its supply chain and increase the added value of production in Mexico.  They also plan to continue work with the IVEMSA BPO team to help them meet their growth goals.
